RE:RE:somebody gave up

RE:RE:somebody gave up
  • My calculation of Almonty's avg-weighted share price is approx $0.64, according to the historic stock price. Also, our market cap is slighly less than theirs giving us approx 48% ownership in the new company and in line with the news release (Also, Almonty maintains control over the new company). This would mean that we would get 0.1230 of an Almonty share for every WOF share or 12 Almonty shares for every 100 shares of Wof.
  • Talk about share consolidation.
  • According to other posters, Almonty has announced a share buy back plan in Dec '14, considering their mgmt already owns most of their shares. In my opinion, they must have already had knowledge of this merger to continue consolidating share ownership, and if Dundee is providing their financing, then something doesn't pass the smell test.
  • We can say Almonty's mgmt is more dedicated about delivering results, than our mgmt. I sincerely doubt that our major shareholders will go for this deal as for them to break-even, the Almonty share price would have to appreciate to $3.25 at least.
  • Yes, I agree that this is a cop out by our mgmt. If we make it to the next AGM, I am definitely want to get rid of this mgmt as they have easily proven they just want easy money with little or no effort. With rublings of our CEO activities in Mexico, I guess it is true that a leopard doesn't change his spots.
  • I personally wouldn't mind the merger with Almonty, nor would I might if their management remained in control (as it appears they are passionate about what they do), but what I do mind the conversion ratio of Wof shares to Almonty shares. Who know how long it will take to break-even (if at all). Wof as an independent company, our break-even point would come years sooner.
  • Under our existing mgmt, they have proven that following the release of good news, we can expect as swift kick in the teeth.
