There Seems to Be Lots of Selling Volume Before the AGM

There Seems to Be Lots of Selling Volume Before the AGM on the 29th..... What is going on? INTERESTING to say the least....

"lots of selling volume"? What are you talking about? not even 300k shrs is insignificant about $30k...insignificant "stockholders initiatives that are at best, founded in ignorance" so accurately put Galus Mr. Ned Goodman is why I feel very comfortable being in WOF, when he starts selling his shares is when I start selling mine.  Until then I'm hanging on for ...more

why sell $30,000 before a long anticipated 'pivotal event'?
Comment by whoisyourpapa on Nov 27, 2013 3:46pm
tradecarib, what's the long anticipated pivotal event you speak of? whois

One hour later, from the last post, we are now close to 450,000 volume and the stock is still down -8.7% one business day before the long anticiated AGM. All these 'insignificant' volume days, as you point out, have brought the stock down near its 52week low.

Yes insignificant. They are all small trades that still add up to... insignificance. You need to sell if you don't understand this trade, if you can't see the bigger picture. Ask yourself:  What is the smart money doing? GLASL

....and 99.8% of the shareholders are holding their shares. What does that tell ya?

Kilgor: how do you know that 99.8% of the shareholders are holding their shares? How did you get this number? I have seen persistant selling watchng this regularly which is reflected in the most current CMF money flow indcator. "....and 99.8% of the shareholders are holding their shares. As I've indicated awhile back, my preference for the financing is in the form of a secured debenture. Not only would this instrument be better for us shareholders (less dilution), but it would indicate that the investors of the debenture (bondholders) see something of value that would warrant the associated risk. It would say a lot about what we actually have at Sangdong. In this regard, one ...more

The one thing that would keep me optomistic is that Dundee (who holds over 50 mil shares) would not benefit from this. I would figure that since they have deep pockets and can avoid further dilution they would do what they have to do to avoid it. Just trying to remain optomistic. Chizzles

A big stakehholder can be your best ally or your worst enemy. It's necessary to be optimistic but with eyes wide open. The best strategy for me is to understand their strategy/motive and try to align one's investment accordingly.

Share dilution means nothing to Dundee if they are buying most of the shares. It is the percentage of ownership that matters.  The other factor which has not been considered is the size and mine life of the resource. If share dilution increases to 600 million and the mine life increases from 11 to 40 years and the NI 43-101 resource quadruples in size, I think we will all be content ...more

Thanks for your in depth explanation. Simply, I am hoping for the best outcome for the shareholders regarding the pending financing and that we all get our necks above water soon.
Comment by kilgor on Dec 03, 2013 1:59pm
We will get our necks above water, I am sure about that. We are but ticks on this bull, out for a ride. Just ignore the noise...... pay attention to what the big boys are doing. If IMC maintains a deal with WOF, what does that say? Would you continue stick with the deal if there was no results? For sure they are getting updates that us common investors are not getting. Remember IMC ...more

I agree with your posts Kilgor. . . Also for those of us who have been around for a while we'll remember that there have been 2 previous failed attempts at debentures. whois

The number of outstanding shares is approx 350 mil. Lets assume the daily volume is 350,000 which on most days is much less than this. That constitutes less than 0.1% of the shares available for trade, hence the majority of the shares are not traded and for the ones that are traded, it doesn't matter why they are traded. My original statement should have stated a time period in ...more
