Getting 30 cents not 8 cents

If we are getting 1/2 shares of Almonty for each share of WOF that equates to 30 cents.  Almonty is trading at 60 cents so simple math we will be  getting 30 cents for 1/2 WOF shares.  Or am I totally lost on the math?

If so do we get to keep our shares (50 %) at 30 cents, or are we paid out and done. Thanks

There's no cash payout in this deal. It's all a paper transaction.

So in simple terms, someone with 10,000 WOF shares, would now own aproximatley 5000 Almonty?
Comment by JCMO2013 on Jan 27, 2015 2:41pm
No, 10,000 times 12.31% = 1231 shares of Almonty times 65 cents = $800 or 10,000 WOF shares times 8 cents = $800

Except when accounting for the dilutinon created by the additional Almonty shares its value will drop proportionally.  Admiteddly its a multivariable simultaneous equation, so have fun with it . . . with the numbers to plug in however you can avoid the most cumbersome elements of the math. We're still being sold cheap, my cost basis is a dime US, not 8 cents (and thats the MAXIMUM payout ...more

Re-read NOT getting 1/2 shares of Almonty but fraction of 12.31% of 65 cents or 8 cents.  This is a rip off but I am hoping that Almonty Sp will reflect this merger with some gains.  Sounds like will will only get 8 cents in shares not paid out. Under the terms of the Merger, Almonty would acquire all of the outstanding common shares of Woulfe at a fixed price of C$0.08 per share to be ...more

Thank you JCMO2013. Please dumb it down one more level for me if you can. I own 10,000 shares of WOF. If this goes through what do I own. Many thanks

10,000 WOF shares times 12.31% = 1231 shares of Almonty at 65 cents = $800 That equates to same value of your current 10,000 WOF shares times 8 cents = $800

Yes, we are getting the same value of Almonty shares as our Woulfe shares...the problem that we all have is that the value of Woulfe shares after the latest NPV is close to $.30, not $.08. Even if we got $.20 value, this wouldn't be a terrible deal. Almonty actually seems like a good company that can really help us, they are just getting an insane discount.

I agree our WOF shares are worth 30-40 cents not 8 cents.  I lucked out as my average SP is around 8 cents so I am at break even but with less shares in Almonty  prefering potential large gains with WOF shares, but there is upside due to risk that mining penny stock companies going bankrupt with low commodity prices.  With Almonty still have chance of some gains in near future with ...more

No mention of IMC, deal with IMC or $10m owed to IMC..   I assume, they are going this way because IMC no longer wants to own 25% of a mine otherwise this does not compute..  May be Woulfe management has been told this and they probably have no capacity to build and run a mine.. Still not too impressed.. We don't know if the deal will go through or not since next 3 months is ...more

Tech, the only thing that would make any sense to me (with IMC) is that IMC is still part of this. Maybe, instead of IMC negotiating with Woulfe, IMC will be negotiating with Almonty, which has a lot more leverage and negotiating power...maybe, just maybe, even though we are getting peanuts today for our shares, through Almonty, we will get a better deal, which will hopefully, in return, we recoup ...more

Chizzles.. Who knows..  By totally ignoring Woulfe's current deal with IMC in this news release, they have left a big hole IR for retail investors..  I bet, all the institutional investors have all the relevant information of what is cooking..   No wonder they want to be on CSE.. They can get away with it.. Pretty pathetic..
