showing hands

may not be a good idea. It feels good to show your holdings to other like-minded on the board. But I would advise not do so in this open setting.
The shares owned by board contributors amount to quite a bit. I have my guess and it is substantial. Now these new guys (almonty) are hungry and they mean business. if you have not done so already you should research a bit what they did with the Panasqueira mine in Portugal as Primary Metals.  If they are even half as successful here as the markets recover, the target of millions of shares held by un-skilled in the business and highly emotional bb members will be just too tempting to too many.  The flow of information from the company has been extremely low and maybe that will change, but the trading is so thin on this CSE that unless there is a real agreement to work and act together, each of us individually is very vulnerable to rumors and stock manipulations, no matter how strong convictions may be.  I believe this has happened repeatedly already and will be more so in the future.
I am actually thinking about setting up a separate bulletin board not open to the general public and boiler-room operators. If you think it would be a good idea, please send me a short non-descript message privately.  I am not sure I will do anything with it but if there is a lot of interest it may be worth a try.

I am wondering if we are looking at this all wrong....... Yesterday's announcement was about Almonty aquiring shares in our company. Sure Lewis Black stated as CEO of Almonty that they are interested in expanding and growing their company to become a global leader in the supply of tungsten. (but that was yesterday) But today, Lewis Black and 3 other were named to our Board plus Lewis ...more

Kilgor....As you point out, there appears to be some urgency to move the Sangdong project forward, it may very well be the drop-dead date given by the local Korean government. Regardless of the catalyst it's good to see some movement forward, even though there are many lingering questions left up in the air. My "wild guess" and "wishful thinking" is that Lewis Black will ...more

That would be a fantastic scenario, one that I didn't think of. Almonty wins because they now own many shares of Woulfe, Dundee wins because they own many shares of Almonty, and we win because we get a very qualified CEO. I still think we might need Almonty in the future for further financing, etc. The one place that concerns me about our wishful thinking, is the Lewis Black is quoted saying ...more

I tend to agree with you, my intension was to provide some comfort to other board members that we certainly do not need to accept everything that is being thrown at us. We certainly do still have something to say in what is going to happen to WOF. I feld that the mood was turning into the wrong direction. Almonty could possibly also read this board and they will also be fully aware of the options ...more
