You are right!   We should all pressure everone to "damn the americains"  and do what we need to do :   Get  stuff to the coasts to access new markets  - refine and produce in Canada where ev possible  

1) kinder morgan pipe through Vancouver
2) LNG plants in BC to getbetter prices for Alberta gas
3) MORE refining in Alberta, BC and  the East Coast.

Canada truly needs a NATIONAL ENERGY strategy.    

As for the SO CALLED enviromental "activists"  -  Manyof these people are "professional activists"  I recently read an indepth study, that showed how much of this activism is "directed" by other interests.    We all have to remember, there are many big PLAYERS in the oild industry who DO NOT WANT alberta's  energey to access new markets.
