RE:RE:RE:RE:LRE Debentures "Interest flat"

RE:RE:RE:RE:LRE Debentures "Interest flat"
Thanks all for your feedback on lre.db interest charged.  I was on the phone with TD for quite some time this morning.  The 1st time the rep came back to me with an answer she told me interest was charged because it is a coupon type debenture.  I told her to chech again and this time to quote the TSX/LRE quote.  She went to another desk/office/supervisor and this time agreed that I was right and should not have been charged interest.  She said it would be credited back to me.
As a side point they also did this to me when I foolishly picked up some NKO.NT 's and I had to go through the same process with them.  Those notes are presently trading for a penny on the dollar so the interest I got back for that one helps with the pain.  I have a small portion of my portfolio that I am willing to lose and consider "Roulette" money.   I just put in a bid for some more NKO.nt 's ( had to do it through a broker) and advised TD the online purchasing of these is confusing and does not work.   They told me they would try to fix it but would only charge me the online trading fee if the trade is successful.
I wonder if other brokers have the same type of problems or if it's just a TD thing?
