RE:who will get the 6.4% interest?

RE:who will get the 6.4% interest?
As I understand it if you purchase/purchased LRE.DB on or after Jan26th/2016 it is to trade interest flat on the TSX.  This means you pay $x per face value and not $x + interest.  Therefore the seller just gets the amount you pay and if the deal closes you will receive $750.00 per $1000.00 face value plus 6.4% interest from about August 1/2015 to the effective date of the transaction.    From the plan of arrangement ........"Debentureholders will receive all outstanding accrued and unpaid interest to but excluding the effective date, including the unpaid deferred debenture interest"  ***********************************************************************************************
It is presently trading at $71.00 per $100.00 face value and so the upside at this point is only 5.63% plus aprox 8 months interest .  My calculations would give you aprox 11.6% total or $79.23 for your $71.00  But the deal would have to close.  Please do your own calculations and check with Long Run to see if my take on it is correct DYODD
