O&G companies with the yields over 14%

8 companies made the list including LRE,LTS,TBE,PWT,PGF,BTE,ZAR,SGY (skipped SGL)
Most (75%) were trading under $5, of the 27 remaining div payers only 15% were
trading under $5 .I love the sound of margin calls in the morning.

The averages for the 8 are below.

...............D/CF...BPR...EV/CF..P/boe .P/flow.
average 2.3 34 4 $10 $50,000
LRE 2 20 2.8 $6 $29,000

First companies I expect to cut the div LTS,PGF,PWT,BTE,CPG,BNE
-LTS,PGF,PWT high finding costs
-PGF,CPG,BNE,BTE high BPR of 40-50% (2014) (see link below pg27)

What does LRE have in common with the other 7 high yielders? Surprisingly not much, debt a little too high perhaps. The range for D/CF for the other 7 was 1.7-3.3,LRE was 1.9 For most metrics LRE was top of the class if not top of the industry. LRE had the lowest BPR,EV/DACF,P/BOE, P/flowing and P/NAV. For LRE to be on the list is crazy enough,to also have the highest yield is insane.
