A good buying opp

Despite all the craziness on this board, the fact remains that the current ugly sentiment against the high debt oil companies is exposing a good buying opportunity.  

Every CEO from LTS to TBE to LRE knows what they have to do to turn it around.   Even LTS with its mountain of debt isn't hooped yet.  LRE is in a better position as they have several decent options such as a big asset sale of Redwater which would probably do the trick and remove the discount off the stock.   That 40% discount on the debs indicates how much the commons are discounted due to high debt.    Lots of upside here.

You never quit do you wilwal. To begin with LTS: they were a 45,000 BOE/d & sold off assets totaling approx. $600 mil. The last sell off was to CPG in Oct/14 for 375 mil. & now LTS produces 35,000 BOE/d. And this was before the oil slump & LTS’s sp just fell. Selling off assets did not help them and once they sell Bakken properties for debt coverage they are finished. The share price ...more

I agree. Their planned 100 mil will be sufficent.  If someone wants to buy the company outright no problem.
