slap

I like how everyone celebrates the 0.52 cent takeover. No empathy for those who bought this P.O.S. at 7.00/share, then again at 5.20, then again at 4.00, then again at 3.30/share, then again at 2.20/share.

The BoD of Shortrun deserves a slap in the face.

People trade for profits , if they bought under .52 and get .52 assuming deal closes they did their job correctly I am not sure why you feel they should experience any other emotion than joy

If you played LRE after anouncement and got good rewards from $0.30 to $0.48, now is the chance to play BNK. BNK deal is $2.20 per share and will be closed end of June. BNk is currently at $1.85.

We think the same! I sold half of my LRE @0.455 on March 17and later on bought BNK @ 1.77. Both are similar return so far (+5%) but BNK is more exciting and has a chance of jackpot (if other co. counter-bid). If the deal have problem, the worst case is go back to $1.1. I see the chance is very small. Other reason is: LRE become boring (for me only).

Well, good luck with BNK cuz I totally agree with this BNN Market Call guest (2:50 min into clip)... https://www.bnn.ca/Video/player.aspx?vid=838240 I piled into Tim Hortons, Carfinco, Alter NRG and now LRE arbs with few worries but not touching BNK... yet.

I was wondering why the spread was so large on BNK and assumed it was a time thing , but only now read the based on getting financing clause , just lived througn that with MMT not sure my ticker could handle another  Might just lock in whats left here on some more shares

Yes for sure QJ. There'll be another better opportunity. Something better always comes along. Don't have to jump on every deal that's announced. For me to jump into an arb with the aim to have my funds locked up for only 3 or 4 months, 3 rules: 1. Company being bought is head quartered in North America, preferably Canada. 2. All assets up for grabs are in North America, preferably just ...more
