Putting a price on pre-sales

Just trying to get a ballpark understanding of the revenue potentially generated from the handful of pre-sales agreements that have been announced.

"ICC expects to produce 1.2 million 30 millilitre bottles of BIDIOL annually. BIDIOL will be
made under the highest quality standards, supervised by the Ministry of Health in Uruguay.
BIDIOL is expected to contain 16.7 mg of CBD per millilitre suspended in ecologic extra virgin olive oil. BIDIOL is expected to contain no THC, putting BIDIOL into a very select class as one of the world’s highest content CBD pharmaceutical grade oils." - Marketwired Oct.19, 2017

I happened to find CBD oil for sale with the same volume (30ml) and CBD (16.7mg) in each bottle so can safely say each bottle of BIDIOL produced has a retail value of $70 CAD.

Brasliv has agreed to purchase a minimum of 180,000 bottles.
Grupo Fenix has agreed to purchase 10% (120,000 bottles) of CBD produced in 2018.
Emblem Corp has agreed to purchase 10% (120,000 bottles) of CBD produced in 2018.
Total BIDIOL sold for 2018 420,000 bottles.

420,000 x $70 = $29,400,000 CAD

The pre-sale agreements in place with Brasliv, Grupo Fenix and Emblem Corp have a Canadian retail value of $29,400.000 CAD.

One thing to note is that only one of the three agreements are with a Canadian retailer. Pricing will vary drastically between South American and North American markets but also keep in mind that it is 5-6 times cheaper to produce CBD concentrates in Uruguay and that ICC is projecting ~75% profit margins.

*A pre-sale agreement with Avanti for the purchase of 150kg of CBD was excluded from this equation due to the fact that the type of CBD (oil, crystal, etc.) wasn't disclosed.

Forgot to add... With the annual output of 1,200,000 x 30ml bottles of BIDIOL, the total retail value of all the BIDIOL produced for the calendar year is $84,000,000 CAD. 65% of the production has yet to be sold.

I don't think that the companies that you mentioned will be buying the CBD oil from ICC at the retail price.  I"m assuming rounghly half of that.  Either way that's good value on the pre-sales.  I'm expecting a run to 1.7 very soon.  My sale order is in at $20, lol,  just kidding.

Not sure where you're getting May from. Every release and article I read was saying outdoor harvest is expected to begin in April in conjunction with the opening of their extraction lab. Can you please provide your source of info?

Hence why I didn't say wholesale price... Retail price: the price of a good or product when it is sold to the end user for consumption. Producers charge a wholesale price to retailers. Retailers charge a retail price to customers. We don't know the price retailers are paying in these agreements but we know how much it is worth on the market. It helps, for me atleast, to get a sense of ...more
