Any more clarity to the Buyout Rumour?

Hello Fello ICC enthusiasts!
I am just curious if we have heard anything else to the rumour that ACB was looking to buy ICC? I assume it was nothing more than a falls report since it seemed to just crop up over night and then vanish just as quickly. Ive been checking several sources for any further details into the legitimacy of this rumour but have found nothing. Anyone have any info on this?

I dont think it was a false report, Im certain there was at least a discussion by Aurora trying to take advantage since we are very undervalued. Thats the Aurora way to bully companies and acquire everyone so they can surpass Canopy...Unfortunately for Aurora and very fortunate for us...We will NOT allow you to take OUR company away for pennies on the dollar!

Yes it was a legit news source. But talks are just talks.

I think it might happen. They might have a deal in place pending the government approvals. I heard a rumour on another form it might take place next month. Maybe this is why ICC has been so hush hush.

Thank you and to everyone who replied. I am cautiously optimistic about being pulled into ACB, However, that is ONLY if they come to the table with a fair premium on our shares. I feel we should be closer to a 3$ stock if not much high soon, and their offer better reflect that value if they want us to vote in favour of the buyout.

I believe $3 is what we should be worth right now...If we reflect outlook for 2019 with lab being completed, cbd oil flowing, sales booming, etc, etc, etc Especially with mj stocks being valued 50X , 100X and even 150X revenue, $5 should be staring point to any conversation involving buying this gem! That's my opinion of course, but it would be sickening if we sold for less while others are ...more

Also, does anyone have a translation for the full original article?  (At least I think this is the orginal article) I can only read the 1st paragraph but then hit a paywall or something. https://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=es&u=https://www.busqueda.com.uy/nota/una-empresa-productora-de-la-marihuana-oficial-negocia-su-venta-la-principal-compania-de&prev=search

Yes there is no buy out . ICC was not seeking any investors . ACB is already in over their heads why in the hell would we want to contaminate a good company like ICC with that pile of $h!t
Comment by TheSpartan77 on Aug 31, 2018 3:53pm
Agree 100%!! but unfortunately where there's smoke theres fire and ACB has a problem with the word NO. They are bullies and if they want ICC they will resort to anything to get it...Even diluting their shares and overpaying everyone after the "hostile takeover" failed! Canopy has gotten them green with envy and I am not surprised they're looking to take over the South American ...more

Ok, let's spin this the other way. Aurora looks at the operations and doesn't value the company at greater than it's current trading price. Decides not to offer a buyout. I think it's in the shareholders best interest thst larger players are fighting over ICC then passing on them.
