RE: excerpt from Canadian Business Journal

RE: excerpt from Canadian Business JournalPioneer, i for one sincerely appreciate you posted this.  There was some very positive statements within it such as... 'Wescorp has licensed their new H2OMaxx technology and is focused on preservation with its eyes set on clean up in the Gulf of Mexico' and 'we allow potential global industry partners like a Weatherford, Schlumberger, GE and DuPont to assist in the engineering and development of our technology'.
The questions that come to mind are...
1) if they are now focused on the Gulf of Mexico does that mean that the Cancen thing has been abondoned?
2) I knew that a couple years ago we were working with Weatherford but I think I'm not the only one who was uncertain whether or not a relationship still existed.  We also heard about DuPont if Yet2.com is the same thing, but i don't recall hearing about Schlumberger or GE, when did this happen?
3) am i the only one that is out of the loop on this stuff?  I figured by checking news releases regularly that i would have timely information and that as a long determine whether or not the information was positive enough to purchase more shares and average down, but now it seems like subscribers to Canadian Business Journal, etc. are getting relevant information sooner than people like myself who have had money tied up in this for longer than i care to remember.
As I am obviously not a very savvy shareholder, can some longs with more experience please share some thoughts on how they are getting relevant/material information in the absence of news releases.  Do I need to start calling IR regularly?
Thanks in advance.
