The Company’s extraction and processing facility, The Plant, will produce high quality and consistent cannabis derivatives and consumables, both for Westleaf’s in-house brands as well as white label products. Even at this price I'm not sure who would buy them out. "over $100M in assets" with over $60M of that being "Goodwill assets"... I just can't see a larger company spending money on them considering the better opportunities. We're also getting into a situation now where larger companies are being much smarter with their acquisitions due to the overpayment of other deals. On the other hand, larger companies may just wait things out further and buy Westleaf when they HAVE to sell for pennies on the dollar. Westleaf seems to be spending like drunken sailors and I'm incredibly interested to hear why Thunderchild is so far behind schedule? Not even a peep from management on an update? Drive past site and you can verify the build is not going as planned. Will it ever get finished or did they run out of money already? The slowdown of the build seemed to coincidently fall in line with the April mercy cash deal. I'd be interested to see how much of that cash will go towards the build, and how much will be used to prop up rest of company's day to day operations (which would be a joke). I'm going to continue watching this one from afar. Like I said on other posts, I was tempted to hop in but the last few weeks have been deafening. I'm just some random on a message board, but id instruct any and all to watch this one from the sidelines for a while.
