Tokens.com Corp. (COIN.n SMURF) recently acquired Playte Group, which is a company that builds tools to power the play-to-earn gaming economy.
Playte is building tools to manage players and assets using Ethereum, Solana, and Avalanche.
Playte is also in the process of building an on-the-ground network of 1,000+ players in Africa.
So under this acquisition, Playte will be used by COIN to manage its player network in Africa.
On this news, COIN's CEO said that "The Playte acquisition is a perfect fit with our exclusive access to video game players in the DRC recently announced."
