RE:RE:RE:RE:Green Hydrogen
RE:RE:RE:RE:Green Hydrogen Producing hydrogen by electroysis at a wind or solar farms, storing it in a container of some kind, and then transporting it to a filling station or industrial user will be a tough nut to crack. Hydrolysis is expensive, and transport of hydrogen is difficult. Xebec must make it common knowledge that RNG converted to Hydrogen with an on site HyGEAR unit is just as green as hydrogen from electrolysis at a wind or solar farm. It is also cheaper to produce and does not require long distance transport of hydrogen. 96% of hydrogen is produced from natural gas and is blue. If produced from RNG it is green. RNG can be transported directly to the HyGEAR site using existing natural gas pipeline. Hydrogen will need an update in infrastructure to safely be transported by pipeline over a distance.
Another very exciting side line for Xebec. The acquisition of Imantec gives Xebec the inside track for onsite production of oxygen. Hospitals are desperate for oxygen in the present pandemic. A WPA like effort could help place onsite oxygen units at major hospitals across the US. The coming months will have increased mortality from COVID because of the lack of oxygen at the hospitals.
