RE:New COO

RE:New COOIn the company's words...."Yes, as part of the recent organizational changes we announced, we are updating our senior operational leadership which includes the new COO. I would expect the new COO will build their team once they start in the role. We’ve also made a number of GM and MD hires for our subsidiaries and you have likely seen them as well.

Overall, organizational development is important for Xebec going forward as it will give us the right human capital for the continued growth and execution we expect to achieve".

Keep in mind this position is not one which is afforded a 2 week notice when leaving. It can be a 3 - 6 month process as it there are key strategic hand-offs and transitions to accomodate. You also dont announce it until the incoming candidate is within a Q of taking the reigns.

It would be great to see someone from a large enterprise energy company fill the position. Preferably someone who continues to suppor the D&I aspirations for the executive mix.

The pedigree and expertise of the incoming COO will need to compliment the reach of relationships they bring with them.

XBC continues to invest and grow in the right areas at the righ time.
