RE:RE:An investor's day?....why?
RE:RE:An investor's day?....why? IMHO, I didn't think GRN's result were great nor their backlog. The share price for XBC is already disconnected from reality given it is at a 25% discount to book value and will double rev and have another positive EBITDA quarter. The way it is trading, it's discounting a catastrophe of a Q4 thanks in part to shorting activity. Laslty, the shorts could continue their games after Q4.
I would agree that investor's day could bring some deep pocket interest into the company.

I think Xebec might just act the same....disconnected from reality. IMO, no matter what are the results, what is going to make it go to higher levels for now is private and governement funding. Fund managers & the public are just not going to make it happen. Why is the presentation just 12 days after results. Pretty actractive point of entry for VCs and angel investors. They need to execute now!

Investor's day is usually for active pursuit of growth through M&A, and of more investor interest for new products in R&D. Both in line with xebec's plan. They want to grab the attention of VCs and angel investors. When a company has had a disappointing year or scandal, it may choose to get out ahead of the bad news, or at least hope to spin the narrative to its advantage. Many of these types of investor days center around a change of direction message that is often delivered by the outgoing or incoming CEO.
