This was expected in the very long term, but certainly not in the short term. Green hydrogen has become less expensive than gray hydrogen in several parts of the world due to the war in Ukraine, which sent natural gas prices skyrocketing, BloombergNE research reveals.
 
This division of the Bloomberg group specializes in analyzing the impact of the energy transition on the energy production, transport, industry, construction and agriculture sectors.
 
Green hydrogen is produced mainly by electrolysis of water from renewable electricity, while gray hydrogen (95% of the hydrogen consumed worldwide) is produced from fossil fuels, mainly gas classic natural.
