On the subject of bonusesSome innovative company should go the other way. Rather than awarding bonuses if certain milestones are met, they might "punish" upper management if they don't get results. Maybe a termination clause in their contract, or a mandatory reimbursement of a portion of their salaries. That would certainly be a twist on the status quo.
