You can blame me all you want

It doesn't change the outcome. No, I never "fudged" any numbers, and if you think I'm unscathed you're mistaken. Admittedly I'm not as pained by this financially as several other shareholders whose phonecalls I've taken I'm the last few days, buy there are intangible damages here of course and I've been severely wounded.. Of course I'm well aware that doesn't do anyone here a shred of good. In the meantime the only thing anyone can do us wait and see how this disposition of assets or "restructuring" or however they want to sugar-coat it pans out. That's the cruel reality. I see this as a case of white-collar crime that will go unpunished. One of the reasons I believed on Xebec to the end was that Levitt remained on the board. Odd that the Chairman of TD opted not to abandon a sinking ship. I find that having the National Bank as an "advisor" to the disposition of assets is a major conflict of interest. Brandon used to always forward my questions during the quarterly conference calls. The one question I asked repeatedly that he studiously avoided was my asking for details regarding the "legal settlement" that was repeatedly mentioned in the company's discussion of expenses. I know now that I should have paid more attention to that. The company hasn't been forthright in its disclosures to shareholders and their lack of transparency has cost many people dearly. I acted in good faith in my assessment of Xebec and I was obviously wrong to do so. This has been a debacle that I have to live with and my pain is real, but my pain doesn't heal anyone's injuries. I'm only too aware of that.

I dont think there are any unaccompanied children investing in XBC.  TT I beleive, right or wrong had the best of intentions and I for one respected his input. Im not a savvy investor for sure, and this has hit me with a $58,000 loss in my cash account, $10,000 in my TFSA, and $52,000 in my RRSP but TT isnt the Pied Piper and I dont consider myself a rat! I hold total responsability for my ...more

Tarmarack, weren't you the one who claimed he recommended purchasing XBC shares to friends and (former?) clients and they invested money in XBC shares, but you never invested any of your own money in this company? If so, I assume you are not feeling any financial pain yourself from XBC share losses even though others you pursuaded to invest money into this company are suffering the financial ...more

Hey Always . Don't bother trying to get a straight answer from The Oracle . Based on what others have posted quoting him he really has become totally irrelevant , basically bashing stocks . His generational wealth stock has crashed and burned much like the Hindenburg .

It sickens me that Tamaracktop's messiah, Kurt Sorschak, dumped his shares during the Q2 report. Kurt got a nice 15 million for destroying this company. Kurt will always be a weasel in my books.
