Nightstocker: Driving the price down on good news is a favourite trick on the completely controlled / corrupt Canadian exchanges and it seems to work every time. It’s often labeled as “moving stock from retail to wholesale”. Once wholesale has its fill, the breaks will be released. That’s just the sad reality of the Canadian market.
On the bright side … Knowledgeable retail can benefit as fundamental value / company performance eventually wins out.
Recent PP participants who have certainly more information than we do considered $0.51 a good deal. Granted, they have the potential benefit of the warrants but warrants are typically priced at the extreme low end of expectations.
What we are seeing now is largely a sandbox for traders and their algos.
