RE:E-Commerce + E-Business Means Business

E-Commerce No Longer Restricted by Language Barrier

Learning a foreign language is hard, really hard. If it was as easy as Volkswagen made it look in their 2012 Passat commercial then companies like Rosetta Stone would be out of business.

Yappn Corp., a real-time language service, is trying to change the e-commerce game. The company announced the launch of their new platform that will enable consumers to see websites in their native language. The platform can translate, in real-time, social as well as customer service and e-commerce content into almost 70 different languages.

The company hopes to take advantage of the Internet’s ability to connect people from around the world to any one site. By making websites more accessible the company hopes to increase brand's profits by opening up market’s they would not otherwise have access to.

"Brands can no longer afford to market and sell in one primary language, especially within online communities where there are no borders to goods and services"
