It's not a lot more but given my high buy in price but for me every bit counts(I've been holding for 2 years and can go from green to red with the slightest fluctuation of BIPC's share

Given that I saw no proration of shares and others saw very little, it seems most people opted for cash and those that did get shares maxed out at .25 per. There just aren't that many shares

Double dividend dip?
Since I was the shareholder of record for IPL past their ex-div date and the shareholder of record for BIPC before their ex div date I just may get to double dip the dividend as little as it is.

I just tendered my shares on Wednesday with the extended offer and recieved .25 BIPC for every IPL share I had and no cash Friday. Perhaps with BIPC trading lower than the cash offer they figured it

I'd tendered before Aug 20 or whatever the second deadline was. It finally hit my account yesterday. Anyway I averaged down today to get 74 more for an even 300 but I'm not pleased

Don't think so, this is not a heavily traded stock so it does not take a lot of ex IPL selling to drive the price down.

Yeh - same deal, had 2000 IPL and received 453, plus some $$ based upon $82 SP. down $1300 based upon today's SP I think MM's are playing games with the SP.

At the height of the bidding war with PPL the BIPC shares were trading at an unusually high premium to BIP shares of ~40%. As the IPL deal progressed the premium narrowed to ~20% in early July. The

IPL holders recieved their BIPC shares last night for thoese that opted for the share deal.. One possibility is they are selling them immediately after receiving them. Ex-div date is also August 30.

If they are really interested they might. They could back channel BIPC for the parts they want. What are your sources for this info?
