Some of the sell off will be repurchased to trigger a capital gain at the 50% rate, and rebalancing the asset at the higher SP - But sadly a lot of the money is leaving Canada from higher tax ...more

All Canadian oil stock have been disconnected from the crude price for about three weeks now.  This is a direct result of changes in capital gainst tax.  Lots of selling to realize capital ...more

Not a bad return for a dividend now that I know twice the number of shares. Eric Nuttal thinks $90 oil by year end so Cnq will also go up too.This is a well run oil company.

the # of shares you have is completey irrelevant, it's the % of your portfolio on a $ value that is. you decide what percentage of your portfolio you want to invest in cnq that's what you buy, ...more

The stock will be x div. this coming monday.Meaning holders of CNQ friday or prior will get $1.05 or .525 on a split ajusted basis.

the banks are waiting for the transfer agent to send the physical certificates to them , most will allow you to buy or sell your new share count though.
