I think what he is trying to explain to you is that accrual accounting can make for distortions on the profit/loss (earnings) statement particularly in the short term and make for misleading

It is supposed to decrease ore transport cost, increase ore grade, increase ore availability. Let's see. So it should be both a driver down of NDCC and a driver up of output of mixed sulphides
