So if they get to 40,723, 339 shares and the deal fell though and NYX is at $1.40 William Hill would be down $89.7 million, 1- if they are allowed to convert the leverage gets them what they want ...more

Alignment which benefits all

British boards seem to expect the buyout will occur -please not William Hill has not said which way they will vote, but it certainly gives them power in the negotiations YOU MUST VOTE YOUR SHARES

They likely went through this deal with William Hill at the time and Wlliam Hill gave the nod, nod, wink wink that assuming they could work out the details all would be fine. I assume that is why NYX ...more

... it made absolutely no sense for SG to make a deal without NYX major shareholders including WH. We don't know how long they were having these discussions. A deal should not have been made until ...more
