Also a Buyer today.   I suspect that Scotiabank took a very, very close look at this acquisition.  They know they are being watched closely.

Non-Bank CEOs have not worked out well in the vast majority of cases. Over paying for a minority interest in a dog Bank in the States is a prime exmaple. However, the Board going along with this also ...more

I think this is an over reaction so i purchased some today. That being said, i am never thrilled about buying minority positions in anything. Kept loads of cash in case in drops a little more.GLTA

I always find it amazing when a bank has been for around 200 years, paying and increasing dividends yearly, is obviouly profitable and yet the market knows better?
