Well to be honest...I did not have the insight to not buy before earnings....so still learning the art of trading VIX. Gut feeling tells me market may have a rally. Once earnings are out and settles. ...more

Nasty level

Triple bottoms without a strong rise indicate a waterfall so be cautious as bottom to work from may be 4 to 6% lower. Expect at least 2% to  3% down at open. 99% of traders will not trade the VIX ...more

The nasdaq100 just made a bullish crossover and earnings should be solid. Lower usd in q1 would have helped exports quite well as evidenced in the export price index data released this morning ...more
