Dibah420...it will be hard for BCE to stay green today. After a nice start due to the economic data I expect the market downtrend to continue. Keep the powder dry.

Looks like US shorts are still on the attack but on the TSX, this morning's inflation data is keeping us in the green thus far.

RE:Maintenance capex

If I remember correctly they immediately cut $1B capex in retaliation to CRTC's generous dole out of the company's infrastructure to newer entrants at firesale prices.

Short Interest back up to 14.52 million yesterday as the short attack continues.  No wonder the price dropped yesterday.  Need some positive news and maybe the shorts begin to cover.
