Yes, I agree with debt pay down with rates falling. And adding to that. A rise in natural gas price will help to solidify the dividend for more than 2 years imo.

The good news is that as the prime rate keeps inching down so does the finance rate on the credit facility leaving more money to pay down the debt.  Every bit helps.

Sept is when the Cascade Power Plant is under contract.

The two generators are running near max and we as have an addition to earnings.

This stock owns shares in a company that pays out dividends two times a year. This as well as other inputs like the royalties, becomes it's earnings. Then the dividend is  calculated.

These posts go back to mid June 2024. Interesting that Peyto is still trading in its same range, while TRP, PPL, RY are up a lot. TD, BCE and Telus are still trading sideways like Peyto. The rotation ...more
