This is why I stated a week ago that Canexus needs to hold on to Blundeheim and make it work as it was supposed to. Having said that, someone like Cenovus would love to pick up Blunderheim at firesale ...more

There are options from outright purchase of CUS: a) buy up CUS and then sell off the parts = inefficient. b) make an offer (or take an offer) to buy only the NATO portion c) partner up with CUS and ...more

That's ridiculous. Cenovus doesn't want the chemicals business in any way, shape or form. And, with a SP premium, they would be paying $500 to $600 million for the terminal. its not like there ...more

Keep in mind that Cenovus now has over $1 Billion of available Discretionary Capital sitting on the sidelines just waiting for a home. They also have their own fabrication facilities at Nisku and more ...more

CENOVUS CEO has expressed an interest in a Crude-by-Rail Terminal. Is it CANEXUS? My guess is yes. Its ripe for outside interests. See Wall Street Journal. And with Cenovus rolling in excess cash ...more
