The reversal trade was looking good  but of course a nice spike down last 20 minutes. Looks like a fakeout more than anything BIG BOYS aint reversing the trade bonds even couldnt hold gains

AVOIDED A REIT SECTOR FLUSH TODAY..

But am I overall happy with REITS? Probably not.   Hard to make a case this funk is over.

The government is desperate for the Fed to give them lower rates. The interest payment on the debt is greater than total defense spending. Let that sink in for a bit.

No recession, more inflation, higher bondyields, no rush to cut rates.  litereally before it even began.  at least get closer to neutral before suggesting u cant go further

If yields moved back up

I would have liked to see the 10yr stall around 4.10% so 3.60bp to  4.10bp and powell commit to 3.75 by mid next year... they just took this trade in a nasty direction and flipped the narrative ...more
