Yankee Dollar Peaked Last Week?

Led by copper at the moment, prices of the metals should rise. Gold struggles now but should participate; it needs a close above $1730.  JMHO

This is a cheap takeover and again surprised that the large shareholders of CGP agreed. We need a new player to make  a better offer and they are out there with plenty of cash.

I find this offer to be low but we are in depressed times. So surprised that the large shareholders have accepted this. Would be niice for a white knight to appear with a better offer.

I have great respect for Newcrest management. I'm sure they did lots of due diligence viewing the Cornerstone assets as part of their portfolio. Newcrest has done well in Ecuador, probably better ...more
