Oops, sorry would have included this answer to my other reply. MBT ceased dividend payments after Q2 FY2016 as part of the BCE acquisition. MBT shareholders will not be receiving anything else from ...more

I doubt we'll see any with the deal so close to clearing the final few hurdles. The only consolation MBT shareholders have is that BCE will pocket the cash saved by stopping those divie payments ...more

Sitting with some cash this month, and wanting to buy more BCE which I already have holdings, I ended up yesterday buying 1000 MBT @ $37.65 /shares instead. Awaiting for BCE acquisition, I remain.

The deal includes, in part, some BCE shares. You have to do the math, but I think it puts MBT under $40 right now. I don't see the deal being rejected, however. We live in a global community now ...more
