The man who bought all the shares said that the price of assets has never been lower in his life. If that is how he truly feels why wouldn't he eliminate the dividend and use the money to buy more

there is no way that the dividend will be increased. that is just not going to happen. sold on the run up, not comfortable with 67% ownership by one shareholder.
