A bu-mer but as already stated gets it over with. They did not put anything away for this as they deemd it would be immaterial! and while the bank loan is for operational purposes it would seem WZL ...more

actually this suit has been a drag on wzl for a while, sure it hurts to lose the suit but on the oither hand it coulda been a lot worse and crippled the company, i don't think this amount will do ...more

ok sorry still the DRECO suits (subs) and they did say arbitration due this fall. My apologies. Forgot about this action as DRECO are subs of NOC. Hope you are wrong.

Might sound naive on my part but where are you seeing bids on a halted stock? National Oilwell GOT $405K and the Company et al simply contested the decision..Apart from additional court costs etc ...more

I just used that figure because I think it gives those brothers a breakeven...but in this market for services companies I'd take it.

jeez i would hope a take over would be much higher than that,  wzl trades at about 1/2 sales fro crying out loud. i wouyld not be happy to sell out at 2.30.  probably something to do withthe ...more

I recall that WZL is asking for about $3.6 million owed it by Varco which filed a counterclaim for about $2.5 million. WZL ,s opinion is that Varco's claim is without merit but that also Varco ...more
