RE:RE:When will trading start in New Oban?
Thanks Method. That is quicker than I imagined. Tried to pick up some Ryan shares at 12c today but only managed to get 1,500. Guess I'll have to try again tomorrow and cough up 12.5c to be sure

RE:When will trading start in New Oban?
Probably the 21st or 24th, new Oban will start trading and the targets delisted but the stock might take a few more days to show up in your account.

When will trading start in New Oban?
Given that the special meetings are all on 20th August, when will trading in New Oban commence? The roll back is said to take effect immediately after the resolutions are agreed. This means that we

RE:RE:RE:RE:why vote no?
Theoretically yes but there are so many development costs in building a new mine so it would take a very high gold price to matter in the foreseeable future.

RE:RE:RE:why vote no?
So if the deal went through, Ryan's tax losses could be used against production at Eagle Hill's Windfall Lake, as it would all be within New Oban?

RE:RE:why vote no?
My understanding is that the tax loss carryforwards can be applied in Canada as long as they are used against active business income in the same kind of business activity. OBM should be able to use

why vote no?
Ryan has $22mil in cash and investments and there are 117mil shares out. That is 19c per share. We are getting 1.88 shares in New Oban, so assuming it trades at 11c, that is equivalent to 20.68c. Why

yeah, that might be true but they still need a majority of the minority to approve so if 40% dissent, the deal falls apart.

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Circulars are filed.
I have been thinking about this a lot too. I would prefer a return a wind up and a return of capital for both RYG and CRG but I know that won't happen with the effective control of Dundee. If this

You need to read the portion of the circular that references the dissident rules, you will be paid fair market as determined by Oban. You are mailing your protest to Ryan's legal counsel

There has to be a better opportunity for this cash to build further value, even with the risk of failure that is inherent. It isn't usually found in this type of incestuous related party

I voted NO online. My vote will probably be irrelevent. Oban will be fine without RYG's +C$20 mil cash. This "deal" is a lazy attempt to build value by assembling a number of

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Tomgranite and Method
I did not say it reached parity. I just pointed out that the share price shot up on the day the announcement was made. To me that means that the market DOES perceive the deal to be a good one for RYG.
