BPY still surging. If NCIB has not resumed then it might be that shorts have seen the light and started to cover (I recall reading recently that as many as 30% of shares were shorted).

Very little. Government is encouraging people to buy dividend paying stocks as a income. In cash account not much plus I think you get lot of tax credits.In RRSP account you don't pay anything
