How come JE are not on this list

Is there anyone knows why JE are not on this Short Pay list?   So, if they are not on this list, is it because they paid their bill on time, right? As far as I know, JE have never been on ...more

Thanks Capharnaum for your explanation.  For now, there is only 3 Energy Retailers, Brazos, JE & Griddy who goes under Chapter 15.  I'm surprise there is not much more going under ...more

In Texas, they don't really have a choice. You need to sign up with a company to get energy service. As to JE, for now the troubles are only at the corporate level, there has been no change for ...more

There are covenants and a reimbursement limit for the DiP loan, so they don't have a few years to reimburse. Being in creditor protection, they already aren't paying off any debtor other than ...more

If the company is allowed to continue to operate, maybe it can pay back PIMCO and the other debt holders in a few years.  There may be a tiny bit of hope for the current shareholders.
