We will have to disagree. The value is looked at by the accounting firms each year. If there is no sustaining earnings coming from the asset, (i.e. RCM)  it needs to be examined. No cash hit on ...more

I disagree. Most intangible assets, like goodwill, are one time costs that are non-recurring. They do not need to be repeated to sustain or grow earnings. Amortizing them is required by GAAP ...more

Well, another way to look at it is that the intangible assets do in fact decline in value, and need to be expensed. The co. raised and borrowed money to purchase these co's. Deployed cap.  ...more

Comparison is misleading. QHR is expensing a large amount of intangible assets each quarter. This non cash expense is understating earnings. For the quarter just reported net income plus intangible ...more

52 week high this week. Quarterly results should be released any day (last year filed on sedar Nov 9, 2012). Could the price move be due to someone with non public knowledge?

I traded qhr for mcr last year. I am up 6$ per shae for MCR, and  gave up 60 cents on the Q. I am really suprised on the recent uptick. Good luck to the longs, I think the q will be less than the ...more

QHR is rated a strong but on globeinvestor.com with a forward p/e of 22.8x. not excessive
