What's interesting today is that IF they increased the dividend by 13% to $1.31 and you paid $38 per share because the share price would have went up not down right, your dividend yield would be 3 ...more

What you posted is true but paying a $1.20 dividend per year leaves them with $2.70 per share to grow the company.  Only 33% of earnings per share is being paid out while the big six are at 50 ...more

OK, let's look at the percentage then: BNS 10% CM 10% RY 11% TD 13% NA 23% BMO 25% CWB 3% Shares down 3% as we speak - dividends do matter to investors it seems but not to CWB

at open we went up over +$0.90, then CWB dove to minus -$1.00. I think some noobs got stung by the short traders.
