Any hopes of increased immigration fueling new sign ups just got dealt a blow today by a government reeling from confusion and political polls and heading to the dumpster next year.

in 2023 their capex expense decreased by 10.8% yet debt increased by 6.8%, so the revenue is not being eaten up by capex , its being spent on dividends.

I know it is a BCE board, see my previous postings ... but few in the industry are concerned about the Telus dividend but only BCE. I just checked out the TELUS board and no comments about the ratio.

Globe and Mail shows the payout ratio for BCE at 182% and the ratio for competitor Telus at 283%. Telus stock is flat and BCE is declining. I dont hear noises and screams about Telus ratio, perhaps I ...more

This sucks ... I guess the market is  expecting the Feds to make telecommunications a mess similar to housing, where no one will invest. No workers for housing and now business gets hammered ...more
