What is happening, and for some time now, heard farmers are eliminating the middle man.  Consumers are buying direct from farmers.  Some have a coop butcher facilaty.   this trend ...more

Fair points, however having farmers in my family, consider vet costs, animal insurance, process and rendering fees, feed as well as many farmers dont have enough grazing land.. graze land is ...more
