Hey Life, Most companies usually just apply to increase the amount of shares they can buy back under the current NCIB. Interfor did this last year in September when they maxed out their last NCIB 2 ...more

I can only assume that they are active in buy backs judging from the price action. Maybe gobble up shares up to $40 again? If lumber price holds.

Analyst Forecasts

The quartely analyst forecast returns and ratings were just released.  IFP was rated 6/6 Buys with a consensus target of $51.17. GLTA

Question on the NCIB

Anybody knows if a company can re apply for a new NCIB if they complet theirs before the previous  12 month period?. I think IFP will have complete their actual NCIB in May. So my question is ...more

Yes they were. In Feb. they bought 1,952,953 at and avg. of $38.79.they were able to exceed the 2% monthly limits because of the block trade exemption. I would bet that they were as active in March ...more

I think all the companies (out west particularly because floods) are suffering. WFG at 108 from 130 high, Intefor at 36 from 43 high, Canfor at 26 from 33.

Good question....down almost $6 over past 5 days and being punished more severely than peers. No rationale aside from the declining lumber futures. Analysts still supportive so far as I can tell.
