CIBC is buying to control the tax pools. We have seen that the market value of tax pools (from the Anderson deal) is about 16c on the dollar. Paliser has over 100m in tax pools that other oil and gas ...more

That could work if PXL can raise enough funds for capex to lower their operating (cash) costs to survive the downturn.-----The problem I see is that Freehold will have much better deals to choose from ...more

No, flipher, I'm saying that the oil in the ground is too expensive to extract with current optimisations. I think the PXL guys tried to pump too hard in 3/4Q13. They got too much production water ...more
