Waseca is a private company which Sprott resource corp ownes 81%, I'm in the greedy ball park, get the quick buyout premium and use the profits to buy an over sold under valued company that's ...more

they live in the same neighborhood so to speak ancd have one billion they are looking to acquire properties with is some talk of in Calgary.   WFE has 83 million shares , so 1 bil divide by 83 ...more

dmacd. As for the take out value, if you line up their trading metrics – P/NAV with their peers, your second guess is close. We should see an offer slightly south of that.   Having said that ...more

If a BOD member is in conflict, then typically they would abstain from the voting process, and might need to be out of the room for certain discussions. I do not see this as a point of concern. I see ...more

My money is on Baytex, Ed Chwyn has purchased a fair number of shares the last couple of months and he's a director for both companies, I believe.
