Trinity Performance Minerals

There is an Aggregate plus Talc  business in Conception Bay which has been mining talc for quite a while and now ships about 200,000 tons per year for white cement purposes....see web site below. ...more

It's very rare but gold mineralization can be found in talc- carbonate rocks such as are found in Deer Cove. If fact the talc deposit is very close to the gold deposit. Gravity separation ?

There is a small talc mine at Manuel's NL producing about 40,000 tons per year. However, it has aluminum content which had caused some health concerns especially in talc powder for infants. The ...more
