How can you be sure?  The price of oil got cranked lower in December and the dumping started in December.   These holdings are only as of the end of November. When I look at this list ...more

Cut The Whole Dividend

and we will go higher as the balance sheet will be top notch with all our hedging. I rather have a good balance sheet then a few dollars each month. I bet we climb higher if this was done.

I am buying more in small amounts..seeing if they go lower, I am looking long term..2-3 years.. this will not last, I seen this too often...oil will always be in demand,,and the middle east is too ...more

In the very short term, Syncrude has gone offline.  That is 300,000 bbl/day gone.  The supply pressure is off quite a bit.  Actually I suspect oil price has fallen below their ...more

If oil stays low for several years as some people think, and the hedges roll off then what is the company worth?  That is the question that is hanging over this stock.

this is over done as we are hedged probably the best of any oil stock out there. If this falls further I will be adding to average down as this one could spike fast on a takeout or higher oil prices ...more

I think people start to price in a dividend cut sooner than ppl though. The hedge they have for 2016 won't prevent the price to fall. However to predict this a 2$ make no sense. At 3$ it's ...more

No bank debt now => no bank issue.  Plus 60-70% of their shares are held by Instituions. They wouldn't let this fail. If it comes to worst cash infusion from the big Instituions or ...more

IMO you will see the Div cut next quarter. Their hedge book sucks for q,4 they are going to get raped on their spreads.But for all 2016 their hedge book looks good. They may go to 2 dollars but they ...more
