Anyone know what hurdles stand between barging to #5

pump station, if the pipeline ever gets up and running. Just how navigatable is that route, looks like a little tributary, are there water-depth issues etc?

Do the math. 1.5 mill bo capcity and a 60 day round trip

per barge equals 25,000 barrels per day. Next well comes on and 25,000 per day during flush production is a possiblity. Remember they are shooting for 50 days per round trip, so hopefully 60 is a ...more

I picked up a few thousand shares a while ago, hoping for some consistency. If the river levels are stable and the locals don't cause trouble, it could be a good year.

Expected some slowdown but 19 days of continuous prodn and average over 20,000 bopd and accounts for half of Peru's total prodn for the period. Cannot see such a pace continuing but, even so ...more

March Prodn numbers

Easily 20k bopd average to 15th and prodn reported every day. Don't know how they're doing it with the barge time to Manaus. Brent still US$74 spot US$79 benchmark. eom

Heavy rain west of The Andes / at the coast doesn't really affect The Amazon river, east of The Andes.

I cannot see TAL currently impacted by cyclone activity at coast or weather/landslides at Manaus. Anyone see things differently? Really awful for Peru/Brazil peoples and all is beyond human control.
